Woodcraft Workshop for Ages 10-15
Discover the satisfaction of making useful objects with your own hands. In this beginner-friendly woodworking class, students ages 10–15 will learn traditional carving and hand-tool skills inspired by the Scandinavian educational tradition of Slöyd. Working with carving knives, saws, and other simple hand tools, students will create a series of small projects that gradually increase in complexity while building confidence, patience, and craftsmanship.
No prior woodworking experience is required. Registration fee includes a Mora 120 sloyd carving knife for each student. All other materials and tools will be provided.
