Using simple materials like paper, pencils, markers, and watercolors, Thea Kovac will lead you in individual and collaborative exercises designed to quickly immerse you in the world of imaginative play.
She will also introduce you to her model of creative process based on natural growth cycles. You will leave with insight into the nature of your own creative effort and visual and verbal tools for generating new imagery and Ideas.

This is a workshop for anyone interested in the visual, verbal and performing arts. No artistic experience required. Bring a bag lunch and beverages and dress for the outdoors—we’ll be making use of Lynden’s 40 beautiful acres.

About Thea Kovac

Thea Kovac, visual artist, art instructor, and private art coach, calls her artistic practice The Lost Playground Studio. She has taught watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, and drawing courses in Continuing Education Departments at several area colleges including MIAD. She has led creative process workshops in many Wisconsin settings, such as the Weidner Center at UW-Green Bay, Woodland Pattern Book Center, and at the Girl Scout CyberCamp at Alverno College, and has held artist residencies in MPS schools. Currently she teaches art classes at the Sharon Lynn Wilson Center in Brookfield and House Call Art Classes, private in-home art classes for individuals and small groups.
