Four Faces of Lynden at the North Shore School for Seniors

Lynden Sculpture Garden staff pop up at the North Shore School for Seniors for a four-week course on some of Lynden’s many facets. We’ll look at Lynden’s history and world-class sculpture collection (week 1); the natural world at Lynden, with a focus on edible weeds (week 2); Lynden’s apiary, an artist-led project that explores the curious and generous patterns of honey bees (week 3); and the HOME refugee program, one of many ways Lynden works with local communities to create and share experiences at the intersection of art, nature, and culture (week 4).

About the Instructors
Lynden Sculpture Garden staff teaching this course include Jeremy Stepien, Director of Education; Alyx Christensen and Esther Portnoy, Associate Land Managers; Rudy Medina, Sculpture Conservation/Facilities and Gallery Manager; and Kim Khaira, who facilitates our HOME refugee program. Rudy and Alyx, as the art collective Open Kitchen, are also artists in residence at Lynden.
