grow Finale Reception
Free and open to the public.
Artist-in-residence Yevgeniya Kaganovich brings her durational project to a close with an exhibition--indoors and out--of all the interconnected, plant-like forms that she, her students, and community members have made from recycled plastic bags and planted at a variety of locations (above, City Hall) over a period of four years. Jennifer Johung, Associate Professor of Contemporary Art and Architecture at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, will conduct an informal interview with the artist beginning at 3 pm. A publication, with an essay by Johung, will be available for purchase.
You are welcome to return on Sunday, October 2, to adopt a plant or two; what remains will be recycled.
