Suminagashi: Floating Ink Art
Join us for a peaceful and enjoyable art experience inspired by the Japanese technique of suminagashi, or “floating ink.” In this process, we gently drop ink onto the surface of water and watch as it spreads, swirls, and forms beautiful, organic patterns. Participants will explore how movement, breath, and stillness can shape the designs. Once the patterns are formed, we’ll carefully transfer them onto paper, creating one-of-a-kind prints.
