Free Family Sunday

July 13, 2014 - 12:00pm - 5:00pm

Free.
Transportation: We will be running free shuttle busses between the garden, the MCTS #63 bus stop at Port Washington and Brown Deer Road, and the Park & Ride west of I-43 at the Brown Deer exit. The Lynden parking lot will be reserved for bus drop-off and drivers with disabilities. If you are a community group organizing a bus trip to Lynden, you will be able to drop passengers at Lynden and lay over in the Park & Ride.

Lynden throws open its gates for its first free Family Sunday. Expect hands-on art and nature activities, entertainment from the Skai Academy Band (on their 2014 Ice Scream Summer Tour), outdoor games, the Simmer food truck, docent-led tours, a grow workshop with Yevgeniya Kaganovich and yoga with Heather Eiden. Bring a picnic or enjoy the food from the Simmer truck. Special thanks to Mortara Instrument for making this first Family Sunday possible.
