The event is free but registration is strongly encouraged: Click here to register.

Check-in, designer displays, and food offerings will begin at 6 pm. Feel free to arrive early to stroll Lynden's grounds and visit their current gallery exhibition, Warren King's Homecoming. The program begins at 6:30.

Lynden welcomes Milwaukee Chamber Theatre to the sculpture garden to kick off MCT's production of MAYBE WE'LL FLY, a play inspired by the artist Mary Nohl, with a Here2Play event. Get a sneak peek of the first production in MCT’s 2026/27 season: the world premiere of MAYBE WE'LL FLY, by Marie Kohler with music by Josh Schmidt and directed by Elizabeth Margolius, and engage with local performers, artists, and community members.

Mary Nohl and her legacy have been central to Lynden's support of artists since the sculpture garden opened to the public in 2010. Lynden administers the Mary L. Nohl Fellowship for Individual Visual Artists, funded by Nohl's bequest to the Greater Milwaukee Foundation, and the Ruth Arts Mary L. Nohl Alumni Award, a regranting program that supports mid-career artists in the greater Milwaukee area, funded by the Ruth Foundation for the Arts.

Here2Play sets the stage for meaningful conversations and deep impact by contextualizing each play's themes in Milwaukee through a celebratory series of community-focused events. Enjoy special behind-the-scenes, hear-it-first readings from the play alongside a panel discussion with community leaders. And as always, there will be snacks. Plus, don’t miss your chance for a special attendees-only limited time discount on tickets to the show.
