HOME Multilingual Story Time pops up at Lynden for a final outdoor session before migrating online in November. Claudia Orjuela is joined by Oscar Quinto-Zamudio, art educator at our partner organization, Walker’s Point Center for the Arts. Oscar will be reading The Day of the Dead: A Bilingual Celebration/ El Día de los Muertos, by Bob Barner, in Spanish and English. Claudia will follow with some hands-on artmaking. If the weather is inclement, we will move indoors. HOME Story Time is a collaboration with the Milwaukee Public Library, the Islamic Resource Center, Hanan Refugee Relief Group, Alliance Française de Milwaukee, and Milwaukee African Women's Association.
