Lynden’s Guidelines for Parent-and-Child, Youth Workshops

Thank you for joining us at Lynden. We value the safety and wellbeing of you and your child(ren).

We rely on you to:
· Help us maintain social distance during programs by remaining within your family group.
· Wear a mask or other face covering. Masks are required for adults and children over the age of 7, unless health conditions prohibit mask-wearing.

Participant Health
We ask that you remain home if you or your child …
• Have symptoms of COVID-19 (fever or flu-like symptoms, cough, shortness of breath, chills, diarrhea, fatigue, headache, muscle aches, nausea, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, or vomiting) or have taken medications to reduce these symptoms.
• Have been in contact, or you believe they have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to a workshop.
• Lynden reserves the right to limit entry to our programs.
Full refunds will be made for those who cancel for health reasons and those unable to attend a rescheduled workshop.

Arrival
Check-in begins 15 minutes prior to the program’s listed start time. Please allow extra time to use the outdoor bathrooms, wash hands, and to check in before the program begins.

Check-in procedures will be hands-free and include the following:
1.Temperatures of participants will be taken with a no-touch thermometer.
2. Hand sanitizer will be provided.

What to Bring
We recommend that you carry these items with you:
• hand sanitizer
• sunscreen + bug spray as appropriate
• water bottle clearly labeled with your name
• a small healthy snack (e.g., a piece of fruit or granola bar). Sharing food will be prohibited, and we ask you to avoid snacks that contain peanuts.
• simple rain gear in the event of light rain

Please dress appropriately for the season), with comfortable shoes for walking. Clothes should be suitable for messy art and nature activities.

We will take advantage of Lynden’s natural areas and we recommend the use of a stroller to help move smaller children as we travel from place to place.
