Artist-in-residence Portia Cobb and chef and food scholar Scott Alves Barton talk about the history and culinary transformation of foods of foods as they travel across the African Diaspora, touching on Africa, Milwaukee, the South, the Caribbean, and Brazil. They will prepare examples of some of the foods to share. This is a Call & Response event.
