Educators' & Family Free Day at Lynden

October 18, 2015 - 10:00am - 4:00pm

Sculpture: Idea to Object_camp_2013

This event is free to educators. Please be sure to identify yourself as an educator when you arrive at Lynden, and don't forget to visit our upstairs studio to meet our education staff and learn more about our education programs.

Parking: Please park at the Park & Ride located just to the west of the Brown Deer Road exit of I-43. A free shuttle bus will run between the Park & Ride and Lynden beginning at 10:00 am. If you require handicap access, you may park in the lot at Lynden.

The Lynden Sculpture Garden welcomes educators to visit with their families and learn more about our place-based PK-12 education programs. These programs connect students and teachers with art and nature through tours, field trips and classroom visits.

2015-2016 Education Programs

• Docent-led and self-guided tours focusing on Art as an Avenue to EcoAwareness.
• We offer a full range of art field trips that combine tours with hands-on artmaking, and nature field trips that introduce students to Lynden's back acres.
• Customized programs that bring the sculpture garden to your classroom or integrate your curricular needs into a visit to Lynden.
