Lynden on Tour

Looking for an art activity in your classroom? Too cold to travel to the sculpture garden in the winter? Need to serve several classrooms in one day?

We bring Lynden to you with Lynden on Tour, a series of classroom workshops that introduce students to three-dimensional artmaking through virtual presentations and hands-on projects.

Choose from among four workshops: Observation, Sculpture Construction Techniques, Art and Environment, or Visual Language – Understanding Abstraction.

General Information:

Group Size

Lynden on Tour workshops are designed for groups up to 35. It is possible to serve multiple classrooms at one site in a single day.

Availability

Lynden on Tour is offered mid-October through the end of April, Monday through Friday.

Fees

Lynden on Tour workshops are $200 per classroom. If you schedule a docent-led tour at the time you book your workshop, the price drops to $170.

Requirements & Materials

We require adequate space for making art, access to a projector and, in some cases, access to water for the classroom visit. We provide all supplies and materials for the workshops.
