Homeschool Day: Color: Contrast and Camouflage
Color: Contrast and Camouflage
Thursday, September 28, 2017 - 9 am-2 pm
Ages: 6-15
Fee: $45/$35 members
Nature uses color to signal or for protection. We will look at the ways that color is used in art and nature to mimic, camouflage, and attract. Collecting fall leaves and other natural materials, we’ll sort them into a color palette and use them to create ephemeral seasonal sculptures.
Registration deadline for all Homeschool Days is one week prior. Space is limited, please register early.
Dress appropriately for the weather; much time will be spent outdoors in all seasons.
