What we now think of as Lynden's grounds used to be flat, nearly tree-less, and covered with cornfields. When trees began to be placed on the property, it was done with the intention of creating a beautiful landscape, with much attention to composition, symmetry, and balance. We will explore these elements in the location of Lynden's mature trees, in the carefully tended bonsai trees of the Milwaukee Bonsai Society, and in a series of drawings and prints we will make of the trees.

Registration deadline for all Homeschool Days is one week prior. Space is limited, please register early.
Dress appropriately for the weather; much time will be spent outdoors in all seasons.
