Saturday, March 5, 2016 – 9:30 am-4:30 pm

Fee: $110/$99 members (all materials included)
Registration: Registration is closed. Sign up for our e-list for information on future workshops.

Learn how to make chains with fine silver wire and a torch. Leslie will teach you how to make jump rings and how to use a hand torch to create fused silver links. You will then be able to create a variety of chains that can be made into necklaces, earrings and bracelets. Chains are interesting to connect and create, to enjoy plain or paired with beads or your favorite pendant. No experience required, and all materials and tools supplied (though you are welcome to bring hand tools such as round nosed and chain nosed pliers and cutters).

About Leslie Perrino

Leslie Perrino is an artist and "art evangelist" who loves to share the power of art and creativity with people, particularly in her beloved areas of metals and enameling. Her artwork is a quirky mix of traditional and found objects, most recently combining computer/electrical components with enamels. She is a charismatic and effective teacher who encourages skill building and exploration of the medium.
