Join the Lynden land team—Kyle Welna, Robert Kaleta, Alyx Christensen, Annalesa Johnson--for the first of a series of Work Days on Lynden’s grounds and in its gardens. With over 40 acres and more than half a dozen specialized garden spaces, Lynden provides many opportunities for volunteers, from removing invasives, to planting, weeding, and collecting seeds. Individuals with a few hours to spare and those ready to commit time on a regular basis are welcome.

For our first work day, we will be helping artist-in-residence Kim Khaira develop a "tinctorial garden" that will feature native plants used for making natural dyes. You will be working alongside Khaira and the land team to remove daffodil bulbs and get this new garden project off the ground. Volunteers are encouraged to bring gardening gloves and digging tools (if you have them). Water, snacks, and additional tools will be provided. Masks are required when not socially distanced.
